Alejandro Legorreta is co-founder and Managing Partner of Sabino Capital Management LLC, a Delaware based investment partnership. The partnership invests in undervalued assets across different geographies following value-investing principles.

Prior to co-founding Sabino Capital Mr. Legorreta was a director at Praemia, a Mexico City based private equity fund, with investments in Mexico and Latin America. Alejandro is also a board member of Instituto de Empresa Business School Fund and several other private and philanthropic organizations.

Mr. Legorreta co-founded the Value Investing Forum, an annual non-profit investing congress, which aims to spread the merits of value investing in Latin America while at the same time, promotes investing as a ways to build long-term wealth among young people. The Value Investing Forum donates 100% of its profits to certain non-profit organizations whose main focus is children education, health and development in Mexico.

Mr. Legorreta has a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid, Spain. He is currently a candidate for a PhD in Strategy and Development from the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico City. Alejandro was born in Mexico City in 1975, where he lives with his wife and three daughters.
