Fernando Zavala Lombardi, former Finance Secretary of Perú (2005-2006) is acting Director of Banco Falabella, EnerSur—Perú’s second largest electricity company—and Perú 2021, a forward thinking civic organization of business professionals strategically planning to benefit Perúvian society. He is also Director of Planning for top brewery SAB Miller, Perú. Mr. Zavala Lomardi is a professor at the University of Pacifico, University of San Marín de Porres, and the Perúvian University of Applied Sciences. Holding advanced degrees in business from the University of Piura, and England’s Birmingham University, he served formerly as Vice president of Strategic and Corporate Relations of the Union of Peruvian Breweries Backus and Johnston S.A.A. He has also served widely in government agencies as Vice-Minister of Economy and General Business for Indecopi, and as President of groups Proinversión, Fonafe, as well as director of Codide, Promperú, Corporación Andina de Fomento, and CONADES.
