Patricio Navia

Columnist and Professor

Patricio Navia is a Master Teacher in Liberal Studies and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University. He is also Professor of Political Science at the Institute of Social Sciences at the Diego Portales University in Chile. Mr. Navia received a B.A in Political Science and Sociology in 1992 from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He later received a Masters of Science from the University of Chicago and in 2003 received a PhD from New York University. Mr. Navia, considered one of the most influential columnists in Chile, writes periodically for the daily La Tercera and pens a monthly column for Poder Magazine (Chile).
